The finals of the 9-Ball Doubles Championship hit the Championship Arena on Saturday evening. Droppin’ Nines – Jacqueline Wargo (SL4) and Matt Kornfeld (SL5) – of Fort Washington, Penn., were up against Last Minute Decision – Chris Whitlow (SL4) and Adam Wray (SL4) – of Woburn, Mass. The race was to 31 for Last Minute Decision and 35 for Droppin’ Nines.
In the end, it was Last Minute Decision walking away champions 31-27, in a battle to the end. They earned $3,500 for their win, while Droppin’ Nines took home $2,300 as the Runners-Up.
