Defending champion Kenny Brisbon has been eliminated from the U.S. Amateur Championship. Brisbon was playing well heading into Saturday evening action, that was until he and fellow former champion Ernesto Bayaua collided. Bayaua defeated Brison 7-5. The loss sent Brisbon to square-off versus 2013 Runner-up Carlos Carter in the early round Sunday morning.
Carter defeated Brisbon 7-4. Brisbon finished tied for 9th Place. Carter will face Gregory Dix in the 11am Round Sunday morning.
