Faces of the APA:
Player and League Operator Team Up for a Charitable Cause

Enterprise employee and APA member Irma Gutierrez from San Antonio, Texas, and her League Operator, Scott Racy, teamed up to host the first of many pool tournaments held to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. The tournament was held at the local Click’s Billiards, who was also a sponsor of the event.

“I donated cues and cases for raffles. Trophies were provided by other local businesses, and restaurants donated gift certificates for the event,” said Racy. “The tournament was open to anyone. We played by APA rules; we figured the more people that participated, the more money we could raise for MS.”

The tournament was a great success! Irma raised $554 for MS with the help of her friends, local businesses and tournament participants.
