Dress Code
The dress code for the event is nice casual. The Tournament Director determines any dress code violations. Any
person deemed by the Tournament Director to be in violation of the dress code will be asked to leave the tournament
room and return in proper attire prior to participating. No match will be delayed due to dress code violations. Do not
take a chance on forfeiting a match due to a dress code violation.
Please note that T-shirts are not allowed at the National Event.
Tournament Play
Men’s proper dress will include dress slacks, nice
jeans, dress shorts (including nice denim), collared or
non-collared shirts in good taste with casual leather or
canvas shoes.
Women’s proper dress will include dress slacks,
nice jeans, skirts and dress shorts (including nice denim)
of appropriate length (shorts must have at least a 5” inseam), designer warm ups, dress blouses or sweaters,
collared and non-collared shirts in good taste, with casual
leather or canvas shoes.
Semifinal & Final Matches
The attire for men and ladies during the semifinals
and finals will be nice casual. No hats, denim
shorts, or jeans are allowed during the
semifinal and final matches.
You are competing in one of the most prestigious amateur singles tournaments in the sport of pool. Please be
aware that this event attracts local and national media attention. Radio and television media, as well as local newspaper
and national sports magazine reporters, are becoming increasingly interested in the sport of pool and some
of these people may only appear to be spectators in the crowd.
Expect that you will be taped for televised segments of sports news, amateur tournament videos, or you may
be professionally photographed at any time during the event. Be prepared by dressing appropriately.
