Wheelchair Championship Results
The finals of the Wheelchair Championship hit the PoolDawg Championship Arena on Friday afternoon. Earl Hessbrook (SL4) of Spring Branch, Texas, was up against defending champion Charlie Hans (SL7) of Harrison, Ohio. The race was 5-2.
Hans started out strong, but Hessbrook came back to make it a hill-hill match. In the end, Hans defended his title.
Hans took home $2,000 for his Champion finish. Hessbrook didn’t go home empty-handed, earning $1,200 as Runner-Up.
Hessbrook was also the Sportsmanship winner.
