When Team USA Captain Jeremy Jones enters the Mosconi Cup Arena in Las Vegas later this month, he’ll not only enter to the cheers of hundreds of Team USA fans, but with the support of Poolplayer Nation as well.
Jones will be sponsored by APA for the can’t miss professional event of the year scheduled for Nov 30 – Dec. 2 at Bally’s in Las Vegas. This year marks the first time the Mosconi Cup has returned to the United States since 2019.
Jones will wear the APA logo on his Mosconi Cup jersey.
“I’m excited to represent APA and all the great APA members across the U.S. at this year’s Mosconi Cup. To have the support of Poolplayer Nation is incredible, and I hope the team will make them proud,” said Jones.
Jones has experienced the highs and lows of Mosconi Cup competition as both a player and coach. Jones has captained the team the past two years, after serving as Vice Captain the two years prior, when Team USA won back-to-back titles. Last year, Jones had to pull double duty, captaining the team and competing in it as a last-minute replacement for Earl Strickland who was quarantined upon arrival in the UK after testing positive for Covid.
Jones is also one of the most well-known billiard commentators in the game, and provides commentary for the U.S. Amateur Championship and several other high-profile events.
