Bill Brashears from Charlotte, N.C., spent many long hours in Host Locations speaking with the owners, bartenders and patrons. He was an APA League Operator in Charlotte from 1989-1996. According to current Charlotte Metro League Operator KT Thompson, “Had Bill not come to Charlotte—we might not be here today. Due to Bill’s hard work and tenacity, I think that Charlotte Metro APA still has a lot of ‘old’ players playing pool.” He will be greatly missed. Bill passed away in June 2010.
