On Dec. 4, 2021, Northeast Kansas APA League Operators Kent & Gigi Henderson held a 3-person Ugly Christmas Sweater Tournament and Bake Sale at Breaker’s Sports Bar & Grill to benefit the Capper Foundation. The Capper Foundation is a local non-profit that gives pediatric therapy services to kids in need.
“We raised money for their grant program to help families afford services,” Kent said. “We’re very proud of what our League accomplished with raising $4,644!”
Thanks to the generosity of the NE KS APA family, the Capper Foundation can provide nearly 32 hours of pediatric therapy services to children who are uninsured or underinsured. These families can focus on their child’s individual goals like walking and talking without worrying about affording services.
