Joe Rizzo from New York, N.Y., was a dedicated, steady and smart poolplayer. He played in New York City, Bayonne and East Rutherford, N.J.—sometimes in two divisions in one night. Many of the lucky players who knew him benefited from the “Joe Rizzo School of Pool.” He was the king of defense—never overdone, just as needed. Joe will always be remembered by the players, friends and most lovingly by his family who were so generous to share him with all of us. Joe passed away in 2010.
