9-Ball Open Division
The Way We Were of Trenton, N.J., defeated the Lethal Weapons of Chanute, Kansas, 52-28 in the finals of the Open 9-Ball Division of the 2007 National Team Championships. Their amazing run through the tournament earned them $15,000 in 1st Place prize money! The Lethal Weapons headed back to Kansas $7,000 richer for their outstanding Runner-Up finish.
The Way We Were advanced to the finals with a victory over the It Is What It Is of Joliet, Ill. The Lethal Weapons punched their ticket to the finals with a win over Red Rooster of Philadelphia.
The Open 9-Ball Division saw a record 333 teams compete this year.
