Sharktank of Owen Sound, Ont.., defeated Biggelbach’s of Portland, Ore.., in the finals of the 2018 World 8-Ball Championship. The victory earned Sharktank $25,000 in 1st Place prize money, while Biggelbach’s took home $15,000 as Runners-up.
Sharktank ousted Haha of Lincoln Park, Mich., in the semifinals while Biggelbach’s defeated The Jesters of Mabelvale, Ark. Haha and The Jesters each received $7,500 in prize money for making to the final day of competition.
I Love You of Chicago, Ill., were the Sportsmanship Award winners.
