The 2018 Masters Championship took place Friday, Aug. 17. Hugh & the Hustlers of Wallingford, Conn., are the 2018 Masters Champions! They walked away with $10,000 for the win! Runners-Up, Not MMMMMMKay of Houston, Texas, didn’t leave empty-handed earning $5,000.
Hugh & the Hustler’s Robert Piersa played against Not MMMMMMKay’s Ernesto Bayaua in the first match. Piersa put his team on top first, winning 7-2. The second match paired Hugh & the Hustler’s Phil Davis and Not MMMMMMKay’s Brent Forster. It would prove to be Hugh & the Hustler’s day, as Davis clenched the Championship for his team with a 7-2 win.
Great Hambinos of Hudson, N.H., earned the Sportsmanship Award.
