The final match of the inaugural Team Captains Championship paired Q-Bert 222 of San Diego, Calif., and Mizfits of Snohomish, Wash. In this unique format, players decide their line-up before the match starts. Teams play lowest skill level to highest and alternate between 8-Ball and 9-Ball Rosters can have up to five players, with three competing in a match.

Kicking it off was Melanie Roach (SL3) of Q-Bert 222 and Angie Weber (SL4) of Mizfits. Second in the line-up was Philip Oh (SL5) of Q-Bert and Dustin Wiediger (SL5) or Mizfits. Third was Blake Kamiab (SL7) and Jason Curtis (SL6).

In the end, it would be Q-Bert 222 taking home the first-ever Team Captains Championships title and $10,000! Mizfits earned $5,000 for their stellar Runner-Up finish.
