K-9 of Kansas City, Mo., defeated No Excuses of Hickory, N.C., in the finals of the 2019 World 8-Ball Championship. The victory earned K-9 $25,000 in 1st Place prize money, while No Excuses took home $15,000 as Runners-Up.
K-9 ousted The Steel That Glistens of San Diego, Calif., in the semifinals while No Excuses defeated Vegas Shots of Blue Springs, Mo. The Steel That Glistens and Vegas Shots each received $7,500 in prize money for making it to the final day of competition.
Delegators of Mishawaka, Ind., were the Sportsmanship Award winners.
