Sportsmanship is important to the integrity of APA Leagues. Congratulating your opponent when they make a good shot and celebrating with your opponent when they win adds character to the game. Keep proper score, shake hands, give high fives, smile and talk friendly to your opponent and the opposing teams. All of these acts encourage good sportsmanship, plus you’ll have more fun as you play!
Have Fun. Meet People. Play Pool. The League was founded on the premise of offering amateur players the opportunity to get together with friends, family and co-workers each week for a fun, relaxing and friendly time playing pool!
Each year at the World Pool Championships, players and APA staff nominate teams for the Sportsmanship Award. We’d like to take a minute to recognize this year’s winners and say THANK YOU for your excellent sportsmanship in Vegas!
