The final match of the Team Captains Championship paired Suspect & Bad Decisions of Shreveport, La., and Make It Happen Cap’N of Fort Worth, Texas. In this unique format, players decide their line-up before the match starts. Teams play lowest skill level to highest and alternate between 8-Ball and 9-Ball Rosters that can have up to five players, with three competing in a match.
Kicking it off was Pam Allen (SL4) of Suspect & Bad Decisions and Nicole Hall (SL4) of Make It Happen Cap’N. Second in the line-up was Jeri Little (SL4) of Suspect & Bad Decisions and Angie Kirkpatrick (SL4) of Make It Happen Cap’N. Third was Jonathan Grant (SL7) of Suspect & Bad Decisions and Keith Aikens (SL7) of Make It Happen Cap’N.
In the end, it would be Suspect & Bad Decisions taking home the Team Captains Championship title and $10,000! Make It Happen Cap’N earned $5,000 for their stellar Runner-Up finish.
Last Minute of California were the Sportsmanship Award winners.
