Rick’s Mo-Betta Team of San Antonio, Texas defeated Shorty’s Billiards of Hazlehurst, Ga., in the finals of the 2020-2021 APA 9-Ball World Championship. The victory earned Rick’s Mo-Betta Team $30,000 in 1st Place prize money, while Shorty’s Billiards took home $15,000 as Runners-Up.
Breaking News of Evans, Colo., and Jesters of Mabelvale, Ark., finished in 3rd Place and received $6,000 in prize money for making it to the final day of competition.
The Wolf Pack of Texas were presented the Sportsmanship Award in the 9-Ball division.
A record 835 teams competed in this year’s 9-Ball World Championship.
