The 2022 Masters Championship took place on Thursday, Aug. 11. Reigning champion, Whiteout of Charlotte, N.C., was up against Horseshoes & Handgrenades of Philadelphia, Pa., in the final round.
Up in the first match was Whiteout’s Jeff Abernathy and Horseshoes & Handgrenades Gerald Dunne. Ultimately, Abernathy was able to put Whiteout on the board first.
In the second match, Whiteout threw Joshua Heeter, while Horseshoes & Handgrenades put up Derek Benavides. In the end, Heeter secured the win and second consecutive championship title for Whiteout.
Whiteout took home $10,000 for their win, while Horeseshoes & Handgrenades earned $5,000 as Runners-Up.
Bad Company of Minnesota was the Sportsmanship Award winner in the Masters Championship.
