The finals of the Ladies 8-Ball Championship pitted Breaking Bad of Sudbury, Ontario against Lady Savages of Davie, Fla.
The first match paired Breaking Bad’s Lianne Larose (SL4) against Lady Savages’ Zena Sibley (SL3). It was an exciting start to the match, with the ladies taking it hill-hill. In the end, Zena took the win and put Lady Savages on top first.
In the second match, Breaking Bad put up Carole Suave (SL5), while Lady Savages threw Karen Freire (SL7). After an exciting match, Carole was able to secure the win and force a third match.
The third match put Breaking Bad’s Marguerite Duncan (SL4) against Lady Savages’ Carmen Nieves (SL3). In the end, it was Marguerite sinking the final 8-ball to secure the title for Breaking Bad.
Breaking Bad took home $10,000 for their win, while Lady Savages earned $5,000.
