The finals of the Jack & Jill Championship paired Amelia’s College Fund – Amanda Grijalva (SL3) and Jonathan Zalewski (SL7) – of Tucson, Ariz., against Highly Motivated – Rachel Cook (SL4) and William Villedda (SL7) – of Tampa, Fla.
After an exciting match that went hill-hill, it was Amelia’s College Fund sinking the final 8-ball and taking home the Championship title.
Amelia’s College Fund took home $3,500 for their win, while Highly Motivated earned $2,300 as Runners-Up.
Amelia’s College Fund ousted Nightmare Before Finals of Bowling Green, Ind., in the semifinals, while Highly Motivated defeated A Strange Duo of Orlando, Fla., to earn their spot in the finals.
