Rookies Schofield of Parma Heights, Ohio, defeated Shorty’s Popcorn Crew of Baxley, Ga., in the finals of the 2026 APA 9-Ball World Championship. The victory earned Rookies Schofield $20,000 in 1st Place prize money, while Shorty’s Popcorn Crew took home $10,000 as Runners-Up.
Rookies Schofield defeated Bad Company of Brockton, Mass., in the semifinals, while Shorty’s Popcorn Crew defeated Empty Pockets of Shorewood, Ill., to earn their spot in the finals. Bad Company and Empty Pockets finished in 3rd Place and received $5,000 in prize money for making it to the final day of competition.
