During the month of October, APA of North Alabama League Operators Cyndi Harbin and Lee Zeiher, raised money for the Liz Hurley Foundation. Liz Hurley is a news anchor in Huntsville and longtime advocate for women’s health. In 1998 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She established the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund in 1999. The foundation helps purchase equipment needed in the Huntsville Hospital Breast Center.
Cyndi and Lee sold tickets throughout the month and then had a drawing for two gift baskets during the Juniors Halloween Party. After all was said and done, they donated $1,260 to the Liz Hurley Foundation to benefit the patient assistance fund!
