The finals of the 8-Ball Doubles Championship on Tuesday, Aug. 10 paired The A Team – Migdoel Diaz (SL6) and Michael Gomba (SL4) – of Lancaster, PA, against Sharpshooters – Dillon Forrestier (SL6) and Dylan Fontenot (SL5) – of Carencro, La. The race was 4-3.
In the end, The A Team persevered and took home the Championship title. The final score was 3-2.
The A Team took home $8,000 for their win, while Sharpshooters earned $4,000 as Runners-Up.
Knight of the Crown Table – James Kelly and John York III – of Florida, were the Sportsmanship Award winners.
