Kindra Prestegard of Northfield, Minn., is the 2024 Womens U.S. Amateur Champion. Prestegard defeated Amy Theriault of Sandusky, Ohio., 9-4 in the final. Theriault took home the Runner-Up trophy after her impressive run through the tournament to get to the final.
Theriault defeated Gwen Sharpton of Jacksonville, Fla., in the hot seat match to secure her seat in the final. Sharpton then went on to face Prestegard in the semifinal, where Prestegard punched her card to the final. Sharpton finished in 3rd Place.
Fourty-one players competed in this year’s Womens U.S. Amateur Championship held Nov. 13-14 at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando, Fla.
