The final match of the Team Captains Championship paired Cuefoundland Crew of St. John’s, Newfoundland, against Saginaw Bay Misfits of Saginaw, Mich. In this unique format, players decide their line-up before the match starts. Teams play lowest skill level to highest and alternate between 8-Ball and 9-Ball rosters that can have up to five players, with three competing in a match.
After an exciting match it was Cuefoundland Crew taking home the Team Captains Championship title and $10,000! Saginaw Bay Misfits earned $5,000 for their Runner-Up finish.
Cuefoundland Crew ousted Action After Dark of Philadelphia, Pa., in the semifinals, while Saginaw Bay Misfits defeated Five to Win of Chicago, Ill., to earn their spot in the finals.
