The APA of San Antonio recently wrapped up their 2012 Light The Night Campaign with a busy October schedule. On October 13th, there was an 8-ball Scotch Doubles tournament with 19 teams competing. The days activities also included a raffle with prizes ranging from movie tickets to passes to Sea World. Between the entry fees, raffles and league team donations, $1200 was raised. The team then participated in the walk on October 20th at Hemisfair Park where the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society raised over $1 Million to support research in finding cures for blood cancer. Finally, an Adult-Child Scotch Doubles tournament was held on October 27th with 12 teams competing which brought in another $323. Overall this year, the team raised over $6000, exceeding last years amount of $5270.
