Bourbeau Wins Second Womens U.S. Amateur Championship Title

Stacie Bourbeau of Orange, Mass., is the 2022 Womens U.S. Amateur champion. Bourbeau defeated Rachel Lang of Catskill, N.Y., in the final 9-4 to secure her second U.S. Amateur Championship title. She previously won in 2015. Lang took home the Runner-Up trophy for her impressive run through the tournament. 

Bourbeau’s only loss of the tournament was to Lang in the hot-seat match which sent her to the 1-loss side of the bracket. Bourbeau then defeated Tina Malm of Severn, Md., to secure the rematch with Lang in the final.  Malm finished in 3rd Place. 

Fourty-six players competed in this year’s Womens U.S. Amateur Championship held Feb. 16-17 at Stroker’s in Palm Harbor, Fla.
