CPA Toronto & Peel held an 8-Ball Invitational Qualifier tournament on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 at JJQ’s Billiards & Lounge. The tournament qualified two teams for the Montreal Invitational, but was also a charity event.
League Operator Julie Rambali selected the charity, Toy Mountain. Toy Mountain is a charitable campaign by CTV and Canada’s Salvation Army to help make holiday dreams come true for less fortunate children.
“I chose Toy Mountain because as a growing number of Canadians struggle amid the increasing cost of living and financial uncertainty, the generosity of our donations will help bring smiles to children’s faces this holiday season,” Rambali said. “We look forward to having a Holiday Raffle every year.”
There were raffles for CPA swag bags, Annual CPA memberships, CPA jackets, Single Board entries, gift baskets, Tim Hortons gift cards, and a Ninja Foodi Air Fryer. A total of $1,220 was raised for Toy Mountain!
