Frankie Threatt from Winston Salem, N.C., played with the Triad APA for over 7 years. Many members contributed to a fund for Frankie when he had a horrible car accident one night in 2005. He not only came back and played again, but earned his original skill level and then surpassed it. Even when he became disabled and was unable to play, Frankie went out and bought a computer pool game so he could stay in the game. Frankie also introduced his brother, Dennis, to the League. Dennis still plays with Triad APA today in the Winston Salem area. Frankie passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010.
