Western Nebraska poolplayers and fans were recently treated to two exhibitions by world famous billiards superstar and Hall of Famer Mike Massey.
Massey appeared at Overtime in McCook, Neb. on August 1, and at the Eagles Club in North Platte, Neb. on August 2. Both shows were free of charge for anyone that wanted to attend courtesy of Western Nebraska APA Pool League.
During the exhibitions Massey performed a wide variety of trick shots, played some challenge matches with a few lucky fans and signed autographs.
APA sold raffle tickets during the event for a variety of cues autographed by Mike Massey, as well as t-shirts, with all collected money going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. When all was said and done, $1,207 was raised for the cause.
