NW Dallas APA and Wizards Sports Cafe in Richardson, Texas once again teamed up for the 3rd Annual NW Dallas APA Toys for Tots 8-Ball Scotch Doubles Tournament. Thirty-four teams came armed with toys as an entry fee. Over 600 toys were collected! PFC Benjamin Song from the United States Marine Corps was on-hand to collect the toys, estimated at over $4,000! NW Dallas APA donated a Dale Perry custom cue for raffle that generated an additional $536 for the cause.
Lori Way, NW Dallas APA League Operator, donated two Action pool cues for 1st Place and an assortment of APA merchandise for 2nd and 3rd Place; Wizards Sports Cafe donated $50 in gift certificates for the 1st Place team.
Dawn Luman and John Persons took 1st Place and Arthur Medina and Tony Grounds placed 2nd. This year there were two 3rd Place teamsMisty and Steven Creech, a father/daughter team, and Kris Riley and Gregg Barrientos, III. Buddy Fuller is the proud new owner of the Dale Perry cue.
