South Central Indiana APA League Operators Tom & Christina Lirot held their League’s first charity tournament at Bluetip Billiards on Dec. 9, 2023, to benefit Elf Dispatch from Pantry 279. It was a 9-Ball Doubles event where the League Operators selected partners. They held bang for bucks, beat the honorary League Operator, cue giveaways, and more! Each participant paid a $10 entry fee and unwrapped toy.
They had 32 players attend and several more stopped by to support the cause. In all, $250 and 50 toys were donated to Elf Dispatch!
“The true spirit of Christmas is the act of giving,” said Tom and Christina. “When we give to others, we give to ourselves. We made the day special by spreading joy and kindness, and we were able to do it while playing a sport we love.”
