Southern Tier NY APA League Operators Gregg & Rosanne Cordero hosted a charity tournament at the American Legion Post 82 in Edicott, N.Y., on Dec. 4, 2021. Forty teams and over 125 members participated in this yearly event that dates back to 2012.
Each team was required to bring a minimum of one toy per team and 33% of the entry fees went back to the charity as well. All proceeds were donated to the American Legion Post 82 who works with the Abby House.
When all was said and done, they raised over $6,000 for the charity along with lots of toys for the children!
“This is by far my favorite event of the year,” Gregg said. “In addition to the charity donation, we gave away over $3,700 worth of prizes to the members who participated. I can’t wait to do it again next year!”
