The Western Reserve APA held a benefit pool tournament on Jan. 21, 2017 at Hideaway Bar & Grill in Windham, Ohio. A total of 22 teams showed up to help raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The tournament entry fee was $75 per team with $35 going to the charity and $40 going to the tournament prize fund. A 50/50 raffle and cue stick raffle also helped raise money. Hideaway Bar & Grill donated $100, the winner of the 50/50 raffle, Randy Friend, donated $100 back and other players who couldn’t attend donated money. Jeff Cantrell, Kristina Nash and Cole Bryson were the tournament winners.
When all was said and done, $1,300 was raised for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!
“Everyone in attendance had a fun and enjoyable experience and we look forward to next year’s event,” Western Reserve APA League Operator Brian Mosko said. “A special thanks goes out to Lindsay & Jim Adams and all of the others who contributed their time to make this a successful event.”
