The finals of the 9-Ball Doubles Championship hit the PoolDawg Championship Arena on Thursday evening. Dilly Dilly 2 – Michael Soto (SL6) and Eric Melando (SL4) – of Middlesex County, N.J., were up against Where Was This Last Week? – David Zartler (SL5) and Jorge Burke (SL5) – of North Cook County, Ill. The race was to 38 for both teams.
In the end, it was Where Was This Last Week? walking away champions 38-30, in a battle to the end. They earned $3,500 for their win, while Dilly Dilly 2 took home $2,300 as the Runners-Up.
