APA recently nominated five junior members for consideration to compete in the 2019 Atlantic Challenge Cup.  The players nominated include: Jordan Roberts of Oakman, Ala., Skylar Brown of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Kodi Allen of Tampa, Fla., Justin Powers of Ashland, Va. and Tatum Cutting of Diamond, Ohio.

The Atlantic Challenge Cup pits the best youth players from Europe and America in a Mosconi Cup-style event.  Annually, six players (19 years old and younger) on each team, four boys and two girls, battle it out to see who will have the bragging rights across the Atlantic. The event location rotates every year between the United States and Europe.

The final team selection will be made later this year by the billiard industry’s trade association which also covers player expenses, including airfare, accommodations, food, uniforms, etc.

APA was a proud sponsor of last year’s Atlantic Challenge Cup.
