Central Oklahoma APA League Operator Judy Duncan hosted a Shoot for the Cure benefit tournament for the National Breast Cancer Research Foundation on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013. It was held at Jamaica Joes in Midwest City, Okla., and a total of $2,661 was raised for the charity!
The event consisted of APA Singles Qualifiers and Open Singles Tournaments. A silent auction, raffles and various pink ribbon sales items also helped raise money for the charity. Other APA League Operators, Butch Patchell and John Riley played attendees that could, Challenge the League Operators for a donation. Those who beat the League Operator received a patch. It was a fun day for all and they raised money for a good cause at the same time!
Duncan wants to thank all those that were such a big help in running the event! They hope to make this an annual event. A big thanks to all that donated to such a worthy cause!
