Wizards Sports Cafe in Richardson, Texas was once again the site of the 2nd Annual NW Dallas APA Toys for Tots 8-Ball Scotch Doubles Tournament. Thirty-three teams came armed with toys as an entry fee and over 700 toys were collected. Cpl. Hammers from the United States Marine Corps was on hand to collect the toys, estimated at over $5,000, and help out with the event.
Lori Way, NW Dallas APA League Operator, donated two Action pool cues for 1st Place and an assortment of APA merchandise for 3rd Place; Wizards Sports Cafe donated $50 in gift certificates for the 2nd Place team.
Terry Klockenga and Dennis Hayward took 1st Place, Chris White & Virginia Kurrus placed 2nd, and Orietta Strickland and Dorilla Strickland finished 3rd.
