The 2016 U.S. Amateur Championship is underway with 33 ladies from across North America competing for the coveted U.S. Amateur Championship title. Play began late Weds. morning with Rounds 1-7 scheduled for today. This year’s women’s field is highlighted by three former champions including the defending champion Stacie Bourbeau of Orange, Mass. The winner of the Women’s U.S. Amateur Championship will advance to a pro championship in 2017.
