Recent news of “The Black Widow” Jeanette Lee’s diagnosis of stage 4 ovarian cancer sent shock waves across the globe.  Despite the devastating news, friends and fans of the Black Widow, and media from around the world, have rallied to Jeanette’s cause.

Shortly after news broke, friends and fans began posting pictures of themselves with the Black Widow all over social media, with some adding a Facebook profile frame showing their support for Jeanette.

NASCAR legend Tony Stewart not only tweeted out a link to the Jeanette Lee Legacy Go Fund Me page, but also made a $10,000 donation.

At the time this article was published, the Jeanette Lee Legacy Go Fund Me page had raised nearly $150,000 for Jeanette’s medical expenses and to support her three young daughters.

The American Poolplayers Association (APA) has announced a live stream event “A Night to Celebrate the Black Widow” for Wed., Feb. 24 at 6 pm CT.  The event will feature many notable names from the billiard world and beyond, sharing some of their favorite stories about Jeanette while encouraging viewers to donate to her Go Fund Me page.
