Ernesto Bayaua of Tomball, Texas, has finished in 3rd Place at this year’s U.S. Amateur Championship. Bayaua came into the day undefeated, but was forced to the one-loss bracket earlier in the day by Henry Brodt.
With a ticket to the finals and a chance at avenging his only tournament loss on-the-line, Bayaua was shut-out by David Rowell who now moves on to face Brodt.
