Most of the favorites in this year’s U.S. Amateur Championship remain undefeated coming into Day 2.  Brian Parks, Raymond Linares, Henry Brodt, Kenny Brisbon and David Rowell all survived day 1 unscathed.

Former champ Robert Hall took his first loss at the hands of fellow former champ Henry Brodt.

Newcomer Seth Krafczik made some early round noise by sending former champ Ernesto Bayaua to the one-loss bracket.

Perhaps the biggest story of the day was Bruce Choyce going two-and-out, an unexpected early exit for the former champion.

Action continues throughout the day on Saturday, with the final rounds scheduled for Sunday.
